Abusive situations stemming from drug abuse and misuse can be part of the problem the victim recipient faces even though the perpetrator may do their best to conceal the use of abusive drugs. Abusive drugs are often prescription drugs administered in an excessive dose or frequency. Drug abuse victims can include people of any age including children, teens, adults, and senior adults. |

Abuse is differentiated from misuse in that substance abuse is deliberate and intentional; misuse is inadvertent and may be perpetuated by another, often by a health care provider. The reasons causing the perpetrator to abuse the victim are seldom obvious. People of all ages can be victimized by a perpetrator who administers abusive drugs to them by food, drink, inhalation, or injection. |

| Time may be of the essence. The victim may not be able to communicate their needs and fears to you. Any sign at all indicating that your friend or love one does not seem to be who they used to be should tweak you interest, arouse your curiosity, and encourage you to take action. |
| The preferred testing sample for this evaluation is urine ( 50-75 cc). Hair or blood samples can be submitted for testing but those sample require an additional testing fee.Our test reports are court supportable as forensic evidence when using strict Chain of Custody sample collection procedures. Be sure to review this form, complete and submit with your test sample. Listed below are forty-five (45) drugs that are are commonly used by a perpetrator to control the physical and/or mental capabilities of their victim. |
